Big news for Wise County! H-E-B, Texas’ favorite grocery store, is officially coming to the area. The company has purchased 27 acres at Farm Road 3433 and U.S. Route 287, near Rhome. This expansion brings high-quality groceries and Texas charm closer to home.
A Big Deal for the Community
H-E-B is known for fresh produce, great prices, and local products. Until now, Wise County residents had to travel to other cities for an H-E-B shopping experience. That’s about to change.
Mayor Kenneth Crenshaw called it a “game-changer” for the area. “A lot of people were surprised when we announced it,” he said. “I think it’s going to be the center of attention for southern Wise County.”
Why Wise County?
The area is growing fast. Reunion, a massive 3,600-acre community near Rhome, is adding 10,000 homes. More families mean more demand for quality grocery options.
H-E-B is expanding across North Texas. They recently opened stores in Frisco and Plano. More locations are coming to Allen, Celina, and Rockwall. Wise County is next on the list.
What to Expect
H-E-B is more than just a grocery store. It offers:
- Fresh, local produce
- High-quality meats and seafood
- Texas-made products
- A full-service bakery and deli
- Curbside pickup and delivery
- Great prices and weekly deals
H-E-B also invests in the communities it serves. Expect support for local schools, food banks, and nonprofits.
A Win for Wise County
H-E-B’s arrival means more jobs, a stronger economy, and better grocery shopping for everyone. No more long drives for great food and great service.
An opening date hasn’t been announced yet. But one thing is certain—H-E-B is coming, and it’s going to be great.
